Sunday's Nations League clash between Croatia and Spain previewed

Both sides are in contention to reach the Nations League finals with victory in Split

Spain head to Croatia on Sunday needing to avoid defeat in their penultimate Nations League Group A4 fixture in order to keep their hopes of reaching the finals alive.

La Roja have won just one of their four matches so far and sit three points behind group leaders Portugal, although they do have a game in hand, while Croatia are second, one point ahead of Spain.

Croatia's last win over Spain also came in the UEFA Nations League back in November 2018 while these two sides met in the last-16 stage of Euro 2020, with Spain emerging victorious after extra time.
